A planned gift is an expression of you and your family's values. It's a way of saying that after your family and loved ones, these are the causes that matter most and providing for them is important to you. A planned gift is important to Christ the King UCC, too. These gifts help strengthen our endowment and sustain our mission.
"Everything that grows begins with a seed. Without a seed there can be no roots and there can be no fruit. When a church establishes an endowment fund it is in fact planting a seed. The monies deposited in an endowment account allow the church to establish deep roots that will secure stability for generations to come. And as the endowment grows, the interest will enable the ministries of the church to produce even greater fruit. May we search our hearts and plant well."
Rev. Traci D. Blackmon, Senior Pastor
Christ the King United Church of Christ
The Christ the King UCC endowment is professionally managed and invested in socially responsible funds. It allows us to put the gifts from our members - past and present – to work in perpetuity. The income generated by the endowment allows Christ the King UCC to make a positive impact on its community.
SOCIAL JUSTICE INITIATIVES
The Social Justice Initiatives Fund is used to support Christ the King UCC’s participation in social justice issues that affect our community, as well as others. It brings awareness to the community of social injustices and intolerance and to fight for change and a better life for all human beings. Your gift to this fund ensures CTK UCC’s voice will not be silenced.
YOUTH COLLEGE FUNDS
Our children are the future of Christ the King UCC and our community. A gift to this fund supports our students’ education and is an expression of your commitment to future generations of the UCC.
